COLLECTION OF CHILDREN DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Please ensure children's medical appointments, if possible are made outside of school hours. If for any reason children need to be collected from school during school hours they must be signed out from the office.

    BUS SERVICE

All children who live outside a radius of 1.6km from the school are entitled to free bus travel. Application forms for free bus travel may be obtained from the school office.

Children in Years 3-6 living within the 1.6km radius will be charged a bus fare by the bus company.

If a year 3 child's application for a new bus pass is rejected due to being inside the prescribed radius, a process of appeal is available and recommended on safety grounds.

All children in Years K-2 are eligible for free travel. Details of bus routes may be obtained from the Surfside Bus Lines.

Free bus travel is available for all children in Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 irrespective of the distance travelled. Free bus travel is also available for children in Year 3 - 6 if they live beyond a radius of 1.6 kilometres from the school. Application forms can be obtained from the school office. Children need only apply once for a bus pass. It is automatically renewed each year. However, if a child changes his/her address or when a child enters Year 3, a new bus form must be filled in immediately. If a bus pass is lost, parents must notify the bus company and pay a renewal fee before a new pass will be issued. Acceptance of a bus pass implies acceptance of the coder of conduct.
